Default Digi 002 with Inspiron 8200

Hi folks,

if someone is interested in help for digi002 with Inspiron 8200 notebook. My Inspiron is running well now:
I had problems with errors: DAE 6085, 6089, 9093.
I tried nearly all the things mentioned in the DUC:
- Installation as Standard PC,
- Disabling LAN NIC (I have no WLAN NIC)
- Installing Intel Application Accelerator
- ...

The only thing that really helped is: Deactivating the Firewireport als NIC in - Systems - Hardware - Network Interfaces -

I had no problems to record 32 tracks 96kHz 24 bit for 2 h until my external Firewire disk was full. I used no external Firewire Interface, just the "onboard" from the Inspiron.

Hope that this is helpfull for somebody

Greetings

Thanks man, I have a killer Inspiron 8200 for work and I've always thought I'd have to get something else when I get my 002 but maybe this will work for me. What OS are you on?

I think you don´t need another machine for digi 002. My OS is Win XP Professional
