Default Registered wrong Ilok ID on Avid

So I bought pro tools 12 and downloaded/registered the software on my avid account. When it asked for myILOK ID I entered the email address of my ILOK and it is not showing up in the ILOK device manager, Ive tried everything and really need some help...

Default No licenses on ilok 2

Today, I downloaded and registered PT12 on my Avid account.

However when opening the ILOK device manager it says I have no licences as this is new.

When viewing my product on the avid website it shows the purchased product appearing ACTIVE with the Ilok ID being blank and my email address i registered it to.

I don't know what to do..

Can someone please help

Ilok uses a specific User ID, not an e-mail address. Unless you used your e-mail address as your user id?

This is possibly the case as my email address is stated underneath "Ilok ID:" in my product purchases on the avid site.

When I open the Ilok Device manager, no licenses are there....is there any way to find the license code and enter it manually? or any alternatives...

I think you're going have to contact Customer Support, hopefully they can sort this out for you.

Have you installed ilok License Manager?

Are you able to log in to your ilok License Manager?

The name in the blue box (upper left) in the online License Manager is the ilok ID Avid is asking for.

You have 2 iLok accounts. Your licenses are in your account that uses your email address as the User ID, but your iLok2 is on your other account. You'll need to sign in to your other account in iLok License Manager to 'remove' that iLok, then sign into your account that uses your email address as your User ID and sync the iLok 2 there. You'll then be able to Activate your licenses to your iLok2.

If you need additional assistance, please sign into your Avid account, click Access the Support Center > Equipment > Create A Case for your Pro Tools product.

Thank you! problem solved, I had 2 accounts, 1 of which was my email address.
