Default wav to mp3?

Hey All. What's a good and easy way to convert wav files to mp3? I have win7 on my lap top. NO internet on the studio PC. There's itunes on my PC, but could not find how to do it. Maybe a free program somewhere? Dont know about the mp3 option in PT's. Also is there a size limit for sending a song via e-mail? Where can I learn..Newbie always.. Thanks for the help.

iTunes. Select, right-click, third thing down the pop-up menu says Create MP3 Version. If it says something else, go to

Prefs->General
Import Settings... button
Change "Import Using:" to read MP3 Encoder
Make sure the settings are like you want.

As for email sizes, it's all dependent on the mail servers on each end. 5 MB limits used to be standard. These days, some have raised that to 10. That's still not much when it comes to audio. Usually better to use a free ftp site like box.net or yousendit.com

Sorry, I'm totally ignorant of yahoo mail. There should be an attachments button somewhere in the interface.

Also Roy, if you need to email large files, YouSendIt is a good free way to do it.
