S/PDIF Mirroring suddenly turns off???

Anyone have this problem? It's happened to me a few times before. The other day- (on my AMIII)when I did a bounce, suddenly I wasn't hearing anything through the s/pdif outputs- however, the analog outs were still working. I looked at the I/O setup and everything looked legit. Then I found that the S/PDIF mirroring went off, for no reason. When I start a new playback engine and enable the mirroring it works fine. that is, until it shuts off again later on on another bounce. Anyone have this problem and figure out how to solve it or get around it???

With my 001 system,S/PDIF mirroring sometimes goes off after I reboot... S/PDIF optical goes off and back to ADAT every time I reboot. No known fix. I've tried everything Digi suggested and nothing's worked yet.

I've had this happen too that the digital sync will suddenly change before a bounce.
