Question Re: New Windows laptop for PT 10

Looking for a new laptop myself (see other thread on GPU advice), was thinking about a Dell M6700, however people have said Dell have terrible latency/dropout issues... any experience?

I'd like a docking station again, i7 quad (3rd gen would be nice) and 16gb ram. Video card whatever is ProTools-friendly (nVidia I heard as opposed to AMD / ATI ?), 17 inch, numblock.
Plus quiet fans (Dell are supposed to have dual fans).

Dell M6700 is top of the list for now, HP elitebook 8770w might be second (no HDMI on laptop though)

Happy about any advice! Cheers!
