Default Blackmagic Intensity

Before, with a canopus...

I'd use SD (NTSC) videos and send one out composite to a Dell 20" monitor for ADR and at the same time use the S-Video out for a projector to work off of.

Now I'm using the intensity and it looks great - I use Pro Res or DNxHD 720p vids.... haven't had an ADR session yet.. any users out there have any help in working the card like I did with the Canopus.

If I know of an ADr session , i could convert to SD it that helps.

why not just get an HDMI splitter like the Neet ones? I have one coming off my AV amp to my TV and projector, and it works just fine. There's also analogue outputs on the Intensity.

I have mine set up for work in two ways using an HDMI switcher with one feed from the blackmagic for critical HD pictures whilst editing with final cut pro or viewing with pro tools during mixing and the other with a DVI to HDMI out from a 2nd graphics card so that I can overlay the timecode counter for ADR or V/O work.

Hope you are well Jerome.
Gary

Gary, so you're running a second video card for the adr session where the video from that card goes to client monitor and the movie also plays from the blackmagic to your control room monitor

No Mike I either use the blackmagic card or the graphics card, I dont think you can do both at the same time.
