Default Blackmagic intensity vs h.264

For some reason I can´t get h.264 720p out of the card.
H.264 SD works fine. Photo JPG works fine in all resolutions. Even 1080 P.

I use the 2.1.1 driver. The newer 3.1.2 driver doesn´t work if I have read previous posts correctly?

My plasma tv seems to wait a bit before deciding that the is no signal. Is this a clue?

Hi lode,

It does?

The Aja KONA card will not play h.264 as it is not a frame-based codec. That is what I first thought when I read your first sentence, but if the second sentence is true................

If the second sentence is true, then it might be an output assignment.

If by output assignment you mean that I need to select video out pci-e then that is already selected. I tried in the same session to use different codecs, and all worked except h.264 720p.

BUT:

It works today! Hooray......or not. It is of course great that it works. But I hate that the computer is unreliable. (I´m the "the glass is half empty" kind of guy)

Anybody experience anything like this?

I would look at the latest qiucktime version as a possible culprit, too. Or I suppose more accurately, the interaction between PT, Quicktime, and the Intensity drivers... Find a configuration that works, and don't upgrade anything until it is well tested. Compared to me (PTHD 7.2, OS 10.4.7) you're on the bleeding edge!

I need 8.0 to get video out the intensity card I think.
