midi sustain pedal not working in pro tools
Hi
I have recorded midi before in pro tools but could not get the sustain pedal to work. pt le7.4 os-tiger I have today also tried to record via pro tools using rewire into reason which I can do but the record buttons on pt and reason do not syc??? can somone help please. Cheers |

2 things come to mind..
MIDI input filter... This gives you the option to ignore certain kinds of MIDI data as it comes into ProTools.. Perhaps sustain is in the exception list.. Other thing would be your MIDI controller lanes for that track.. Make sure sustain is there in the drop down list.. Reason is a different story. I suggest you search the forum because there are lots and lots of threads about using reason with PT. You at least need to describe what you have tried to configure in more detail...
