How do I trigger a kick in Transfuser from a MIDI file in PT?

Hello,
I can't figure out the easiest task ever.

I want to modernize a song by replacing live drums with electronic drums. Transfuser has pretty good samples in its library.
I have the MIDI pattern for each instrument (kick, snare and toms) ready in PT. I started by choosing a good kick sound and dropped it into the TRACK space in Transfuser. I see the MIDI light turning on in the Transfuser UI but no sounds come out. When I play the keyboard I can hear the sound of my kick but if I press play in PT it doesn't make any sounds.

Is it possible to use Transfuser like Strike? Thanks for any help.
