Can I run PT7 LE on OSX 10.3.9 ? C'mon, really....

I see the Tiger system recommendations, but can I still run it on my G5 with 10.3.9 (Last version of Panther, I believe...stupid cat names, I never keep track....)

Is this a "best possible situation" recommendation or is there something absolutely essential that Tiger has to enable it to run????

I'm not in the mood to upgrade my OS right now..........
