Mbox Pro 3 on a new iMac 27"
Hi,
I'm looking into buying a small rig containing the Mbox Pro 3 and a new iMac 27". I'm a bit confused how i would connect the two. Mbox Pro only has firewire 400 ports and the iMac has USB and Thunderbolt. As i understand there's no Firewire 400 to thunderbolt convertor cables. Any ideas? |

Re: Mbox Pro 3 on a new iMac 27"
You would get the Apple $29 Thunderbolt to Firewire 800 adapter, then use a Firewire 800 to 400 cable. Seems to be working fine for everyone.
You would need a cable anyway regardless, because the adapter is just that, an adapter only a few inches long with a female port. |
