Re: I tried Pro Tools 2020.5 on MacOS 11 Big Sur
Be very careful with the iLok Manager and do not try to synchronise your iLoks within Big Sur.
I just lost my PT license!

Re: I tried Pro Tools 2020.5 on MacOS 11 Big Sur
I'm not sure that is Big Sur specific, there are lots of folks on DUC having licenses evaporating issues on other macOS releases. Some maybe who accidentally surrendered licenses in a subscription upgrade, and others with likely something else bad bad going on. I've synced my iLok on Big Sur, just did it again and had no problems.

OK, finally I got the information from iLok that Avid revoked my license.
Not funny...

Ouch. Did you accidentally take the confusing as heck cross-grade to a subscription "deal"? Or is Avid licensing broken in other ways?

Re: I tried Pro Tools 2020.5 on MacOS 11 Big Sur
Has anyone tried the HDX drivers for 2020.11 under Big Sur? Answered.
Yes, the hdx drivers seemed to load fine under 2020.11 and Big Sur. I also played a session at the lowest buffer setting and had no issues. It had something like 20 tracks and various plugins (mostly dsp and some native) seemed pretty solid. For my home recording needs this seems fine for me. Too many points? Don't want to get popped for mixing on a suspended license.

What could happen is, that the replacement license was withdrawn but they forgot to put my regular license back. On the other hand, I still have a valid license in my account up to march 21. I opened another case, no answer right now.

Re: I tried Pro Tools 2020.5 on MacOS 11 Big Sur
Just upgraded to Mojave on my main machine. I have a work machine that came with Catalina and I was pleasantly surprised when video actually worked... I generally stay about an OS or two behind because stability is worth more than having the latest greatest OS. Been working this way for a long while now,
