Digi: A question about HD to Accel upgrade

Do you get the 6.4 software free when you upgrade from HD to Accel?

I hope so. I am still running HD3 with 5.3.1.

I did the upgrade last December and I got the latest version of PT on a CD along with a registration number, so I would guess that they throw in the latest version of PT when you do the upgrade this time around. Since the upgrade offer announcement came along about the same time as 6.4, I would think the chances are very high that they'll be putting 6.4 disks into the box, but maybe someone from Digidesign with read this thread and confirm.

Forget it. Pay for the upgrade. It's not that much $$ in the context of things. Save your petitioning for flat $1995 pricing for all Accell card exchanges instead of the "first card has to buy the Impact plug-in" scheme.
