Default Changing MIDI tempo

Hi! I want to change the tempo of my whole project from 92.5 to 101.750 . I can change the waveform based audio samples and drum loops from samples to ticks and then polyphonic before going into the elastic properties and altering the tempo.

However i cannot do the same with the MIDI sequences i recorded because where the polyphonic bit should be it says 'read only' and above that 'none'.

Please any help greatly appreciated!

Midi is in TICKS mode by default and will follow your tempo change with no effort

Dave is right. Make sure the timebase for all MIDI tracks is set to ticks (not samples) BEFORE altering the tempo, and you should be golden.

Elastic audio is for audio only.

You take note of the manual tempo > go to the transport window > turn on the Conductor > hit Return to go to the start of the session > show the tempo ruler > press the + sign at the beginning of that ruler > enter the tempo.

You now have a static tempo map.
