Many thanks for the replies everyone,problem sorted.

With reference to the record level,it is fine.

The 2 buttons to the right of the track,one with a waveform and one with midi,the waveform adjusts all the tracks at the same time.

Anyway,sorted now thanks

In Windows, using ProTools8, you can increase the size of the waveform by holding down Ctrl and Alt keys while pressing the ] to enlarge the waveform or [ to decrease the waveform. It will change the height of the entire waveform track, all regions. I have not figured out how to only enlarge a single region or portion of the track. It may not be possible
