Default Record enable/Online in one keystroke?

There is (was anyway) a single keystroke that would record enable and go online in one stroke. I have all my tracks record readied, and I need to enable the transport, then go online (to chase timecode). I used to do this with a control surface, but we're moving on to a Euphonix Hybrid system and they don't have these functions readily accessible (they're page 10 of the Eucon section on the surface). Anyone know this single keystroke is?

Thanks

Apple J will put you online and then 3 on the numeric keyboard to record.

Uh.. Yeah, got that. But you can't go into record once you're chasing TC (well you could in quick-punch, but I'm often recording 128 channels at once). I need to record enable (hit the record button, but NOT record) then go ONLINE. As I said, there was a single key stroke way back when, that would record enable AND put you online in one shot.

Not sure what you mean by that but try command+option+spacebar.
This shortcut may be used by your OS, so you will have to make sure it is disabled in sys prefs.

Or turn off Spotlight and hit F12(I use that on my PC setup a lot).

Under normal circumstances, opt+cmd+space should work but of all of our 15 Mac Pro workstations running ProTools v9/v10 on Mac 10.6.8 or 10.7.2, none of them works. Yes we have spotlight turned off, as well as any other Mac shortcuts that use that combination. We've noticed that the is some interaction in the Language & Text>input sources, when US Ext is turned on then off the shortcut will work, until the machine has been logged out, or restarted.
We contacted Apple, but their reply was if Spotlight works normally with that shortcut, it's not our problem - a typical Apple response, since they haven't fixed Snow Leopard yet. So I'm hoping that Avid can help us out.
