Here\'s a weird one
I run a 002 on a HP laptop with rokit 8 monitors. When I charge the laptop distortion is fed through the speakers whenever they are in use in the form or a high pitch low volume squeal. When music is playing it's hardly audible, but in the mean time its annoying as crap. I have to make sure my computers fully charged before sessions or I have to deal with that sound. DOes anyone know why it does this and a possible solution. Even at a few feet away it still make the noise, but only when the laptop is plugged in to the wall.

Re: Here\'s a weird one
Sounds like either a ground loop problem or your power supply is putting out exceesive noise that's being picked up by your audio cables.
Have you tried using a different outlet? |

Re: Here\'s a weird one
this usually goes away for me if i lift the ground. i.e. get one of those 3 -> 2 prong a/c adapters for your power cord...
