Pro Tools 23.12.1 Splash Screen
So just for a moment I actually saw what plugins were loading above the status bar on the splash screen. Then I upgraded to 23.12.1 and it went away. I liked seeing what was happening as the program was loading. I was doing a new install on a new M.2 SSD.
Where did all the cool info go? Now all I have is the boring status bar and the spinning Waves icon for when the Waves plugins load. In advance I appreciate your explanation. Thanks, Anassau

Re: Pro Tools 23.12.1 Splash Screen
The new and improved plugin cache in 2023.12.1 changed the way Pro Tools scans the plugins every time it’s launched. This means you won’t see it scan through every single plugin in the launch window. If it gets stuck somewhere, Pro Tools will let you know. For example, if you’re missing a license for a plugin.
This is a good thing. It allows Pro Tools to launch faster and needing to watch the plugin scan isn’t really a necessary thing. |

Re: Pro Tools 23.12.1 Splash Screen
I was looking back through an old post of mine from November of last year.
I must have missed this reply. @tape77 replied that if you go into dark mode instead of classic mode you will see what is loading. But as @its2loud pointed out it doesn't show everything loading because of "The new and improved plugin cache in 2023.12.1" Dark mode it is for me. Mystery solved. Thanks again.
