I checked, and mine are fine, i.e. the latest Win11 updates did NOT change mine. Hmmm...

I always check that my USB Power settings, among a few other settings I've changed, have not been defaulted after a Windows update. And I'm on Windows 10.

Just checked all mine and it was still disabled. Could this have been a chipset driver update that got pushed?

Good question(that I can't answer). All I know is, I was in the middle of mixing and got an error message about lost communication with Mbox and had to close PT, so that was the first thing I checked(and most were back to enabled). I have the Mbox on a USB card(with a USB-c port) and that one did need to be reset. Things that make you go "Hmmm" FWIW, I am running an HP z4 workstation that has been solid as a rock(other than this silliness)

I bet it's the USB card. Can you instead use a USB port on the motherboard for the audio interface? i.e. to NOT use the USB card?

No can do. This card and its USB-c connection is the only way I have achieved good(IOW, useable) performance with the Mbox(after trying front and rear USB ports with adapters). Besides, it wasn't only the USB card that got reset, so I guess this is something we Windows users just have to get used to(at least for the moment). I blame Windows and nothing else in the system
