For what I'm doing with my PT 10, I could use it with el Captain. Otherwise I think PT can't save the session cause, it still looking on my external hard drive to save.

No - you can't use PT on ElCapitan, pure and simple. Besides you have to fool the installer to get it to even install on anything higher than Mavericks. PT can save the session anywheres you want it to. Just do a save as or save copy as.

And if Save Copy As, be sure to check off Copy Audio.

Yes - too many people miss that and wonder what happened to their recorded audio. Drive space is cheap nowadays.
