Default Recording tracks wet

Please forgive a rather basic question...

Is there any way to record a track "wet" as in with a compression plug in? If there isn't (and I suspect that's the case) is this a feature that's liable to be added in the future?

Thanks for the help.

Dave

Default Re: Recording tracks wet

Create an AUX input, apply the plug-in(s) to the AUX, create an audio track, bus the ouput of the AUX to the input of the audio track. Whatever plug-ins are on your AUX track will be recorded to disk.
