Pro Tools 8 LE Installation error (Blank Box)

I bought the MBOX2Mini w/ Pro Tool LE 8 today and brought it home. I pop in the install disc, and all that pops up is a small gray box with the words Welcome to Pro Tools on top, and the rest of the box is a blank gray color. No words or buttons. I moved the mouse over, clicked around in it. Nothing. I was so excited to get started and this happened! I have 2 gigs of ram on an eMachine desktop Windows Vista Home Basic (32bit). I tried it in my XP in my living room the correct way bigger box than the one I'm getting popped up with the options to install. I really need this installed on my Vista. Can Anyone offer any help? Thanks.

I had the same problem. Turns out my disc drive didnt like the installation disc for some reason. I contacted support and they gave me a digital download instead and it worked fine.

Having the same problem on a system I rebuilt on Windows 7 RTM. Same hardware worked fine for install on XP.

A lot of people are having more success loading the installer on their hard drive first and THEN installing....
