Re: Question
As we are talking about MIDI drum patterns. Does anybody know how to EXPORT a programmed MIDI drum pattern which has been done in PT to say a 4-bar/1-track MIDI clip?
Not a whole MIDI file for the song with all the tracks, just a short clip that can then maybe later be added to an EZDrummer library or something like that. |

Re: Question
you can probably hilight the midi you want exported, then export, then import into whatever session you want. If this does not work, just export/import all of it and use what you need. I have a client who does beats on Reason, then brings them to me, we get rid of the reason mixer and rout to Pro Tools....he does not read or write music, so I export the midi files out of his reason songs into Pro Tools and use the score editor to figure out what notes/chords he is playing to add live instruments easily.

Re: Question
Thanx, I'll try that. Sounds obvious...
