Default Fast Track Ultra & Mavericks 10.9 STILL NOT WORKING

Hello,
I just downloaded the updated drivers for my Fast Track Ultra & Ultra R8 but...nothing has changed from the previous drivers.
Still have the same problems:
- Control Panel for Fast Track/8R simply don't work (it does not show anything)
- Can't hear NO SOUND (no OUT and also NO PHONES)
I still cannot Uninstall (error 5364) and...can't simply use my M-Audio devices.

I own a MacBook Pro with 8GB of RAM
Osx 10.9 Mavericks
My DAWs are Logic Pro 9 and Logic Pro X, plus I use Ableton Live suite 9

Can you please help me???

Thank you!

I am having the EXACT same issues after updating the latest driver for my M Audio Fast Track Ultra.

I'm using a Macbook Pro running OSX 10.9 (Mavericks)
4 GB RAM (I should really upgrade..)
DAW that I use is Logic X.

Just so that you are all informed, it is NOT my M Audio interface. It works on other systems, just not on my Macbook. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the latest driver that was released days ago.

So disappointed. Also if you feel that this is an isolated incident with the most recent driver release, it is not. Check your Facebook page, many users complaining that the Fast Track Ultra driver did not fix the issues.

Please address immediately as I've got work to get done and I love the interface when it's working.

Really can't believe Avid is not releasing a working update for Mavericks!!! And also can't believe they simply don't answer to all our requests. I will surely remember this when I'll buy another audio interface...

I'll forward this on. Can you all give as much info as possible as to your setup, driver version (latest), was the FTU working before the Mavericks upgrade on these specific computers etc.

Thanks,
Joel

Hello,
yes everything was PERFECT before I updated to Mavericks.
BTW, this is my "set-up":

MacBook Pro 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
RAM 8 GB
SSD drive 320GB
OSX 10.9 Mavericks
M-Audio Fast Track Ultra (last driver 2.3)
M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R (last driver 2.3)
Logic Pro X

Thanks

My Core Duo is sitting in the other room collecting dust. It got to a point where updates made things bad. Use it for my construction business now. Bought a late 2012 27" iMac. It screams and no problems.
If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Well, my Core 2 duo runs like a champ and I have no other problems. I'm not sure what you're suggesting.

Reposting from another thread:

Ok folks.

After reading a thread from another model with 10.9, I changed my clock from internal to SPIDF then back again. Didn't seem to do anything.

Came back a bit later and changed to internal speakers to listen to music. Suddenly system sounds (still set to the Fast Track Ultra 8r) blared through my monitors. Changed output back to Fast Track Ultra 8R and everything seems to work.

We'll see how long it lasts but my guess is that Avid has a clock issue with Mavericks and these Duo Cores....
