How do turn a click track inti a grid
How would I make a audio click track lock to a grid........tab to transient,,,beat det...? help??

Use tab to transient + shift-tab to transient to select a couple of measures of the audio click.
i.e. start with Measure 1, beat 1 then select through Measure 3 beat 1. Then select "Identify Beat" from the Edit menu. Make sure the data entered is correct then say OK. It will create a tempo setting matching your BPM in the audio click and the grid will line up. Steve |

It's much faster to use Identify Beat on the first bar and then use Beat Detective. Most drum machines won't have a solid click (tempo).
