Default SAVE A COPY Causing Problems

Getting this error:

Could not save a copy in "Copy of Every Kind of People" because (-1) while copying "EG1 2_01.wav" to "EG1 2_01.wav".

Any ideas?

Thx
TH

Metadata could be corrupt. I've seen it before a long while ago. Try doing a region consolidate so it creates a new file and then try your save session.

Another option is. Create a new session, select copy audio and import the tracks you want just for that session.
This option will often fix any internal corruption that might have happened.

I just use the 2nd one honestly. Have been for 20 years and it never fails.

This happened to me last week and I also posted about it. But in that case PT immediately quit when I tried to SAVE A COPY. Will be trying again today on another session and will report back. I did indeed consolidate the problematic track but received the same error message...
