Sample rate conversion question...
Hi all, I'm hooking up a Korg M3 via spdif into my 192 interface. The Korg is 48 and I work in 44.1. Is there a way to live sample rate-convert the optical spdif inputs on the 192 from 48 to 44.1? Best, Fredrik |

Re: Sample rate conversion question...
From the 192 I/O Guide, page 6:
Optical (ADAT) Dedicated, eight-channel 24-bit capable Optical port. Using real-time sample rate conversion, these inputs will accept up to 48 kHz sample rates and convert them to a Pro Tools session running at up to 192 kHz. These outputs will only output at sampling rates of up to 48 kHz. Unlike the Optical port located on the enclosure, this Optical (ADAT) port is not switchable to Optical S/PDIF.

Re: Sample rate conversion question...
The 8 channel AES snake input is also capable of real-time SRC. You can buy a cheap convertor box to convert your SPDIF to AES and then use the snake to go in to the 192.
