ILock Key

Am i suppose to have an ILock Key for my Mbox Pro 2? when i bought it, it didnt come with one?? Non of my plugins work due to this> Digisupport, was i suppose to get one? How do i authorize my plugins??

You would only get one if you purchased the Factory Bundle.

If you didn't get the Factory Bundle then the only way to authorize plug-ins is to purchase the plug-in and an iLok.

I spent 800$ on the mbox 2 pro. To use the plug ins and the soundcard, and also protools, So your telling me that i can not use the plug ins that my mbox brought? There on the disk. Why did my stuff come with the plug ins if i cant use them? i have no key to Authorize them. and the [bleep] came with no Ilock. Muh guy has the regular mbox, the one with the handle on it and it came with a Ilok.

Were is mine? What do i have to do to use the plug ins that i bassicly paid for. I dont see it fair or correct that after i paid so much for this that i have to purchase an ilok key now? that dont seem right

Read what your product should have come with. Did you buy the factory bundle? If so, you get the ilok key and the authorization to unlock those additional plugins. If not, you don't get the ilok key nor the authroization to unlock those additional plugins. You still get all the standard plugins that come with the basic package.

Both the factory bundle and the basic packages come with the same installation CD. The factory bundle allows you to unlock the specific plugins on that CD whereas the basic package does not. The factory bundle for the Mbox2 family cost about $100 more than the basic package. Again, you still get all the standard plugins that come with the basic package.

This is what the MBox 2 Pro (Basic Package) comes with for $799.00

This is what the MBox 2 Pro (Factory Bundle) comes with for $899.00

Your friend probably got the Mbox 2 (Factory Bundle) for $595.00 compared to the Mbox 2 (Basic Package) for $495.00.

Note: The factory bundle for the Mbox 2 Pro and the MBox 2 includes the same additional plug-ins)

The ilok key can be purchased at any major retailer or online store (including the Digistore).

The authorizations can be purchased at the Digistore, several online retailers, and sometimes even ebay. Some can be purchased in bundles (like the factory bundle) to save money.

Which authorizations do you want, specifically?

That's Sounds like either the Producer Factory Bundle or the Producer Factory Pro Bundle. They can be purchased at any number of retailers including:

My Mbox 2 Pro already came with this stuff, why i do i need to repurchase it? 399$? at that? hell naw!!!! I should be able to get the authorization for the key shouldent i? i have the instalation already i just need the i lock key and the authorizations,
