Default Neo Assertion in "/Volumes..." Error

I opened up an old PT6 session from a FireWire drive in PT 7.4.2 on a Mac Pro and when I tried to consolidated then rename a region (AND file name), I got this error:

Neo Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/vbJeopard_r2/AlturaPorts/ SDKs/ Neo61/Libraries/Macintosh/ nvironments/Alone/ .. / .. / .. / ../Source/CNeoIOBlock.cpp" line 792

The permissions on the FW drive seem fine.
Any clues?

First 'port of call' with random Neo Assertion errors is to delete Preferences and DDB's. Detailed instructions are contained in the troubleshooting thread (above).

There is an application that someone made up for free. You can find it on Pro Tools HD for Mac OS. It's mini application that does most of the cleaning up that PT needs when prefs and other things get corrupted. I would highly recommend that you download it and try it.
