Clicks/Pops Randomly when Bouncing To Disk

Alright, so I've never had this problem before... but I'm bouncing to disk at 48k/24bit (same a session), and randomly throughout the bounced file I will hear clicks and pops, sometimes in the left, sometimes in the right, sometimes in both at the same time.

This is the first time I'm bouncing at this sample rate and bit depth though, I usually bounce down to 44.1/16, what can I do to prevent/help/figure out what the hell this is?

I believe all my Playback Engine settings are on the default settings... 512mb, 85%, Level 2 Buffer.

I don't have many plugins running, maybe a few 7-band EQ's, a JoeMeek compressor and a L1 limiter here and there, nothing near crazy.

Advice?

I should probably include a few more things. Let's see...

ProTools 7.3.1 cs4 - I'm going to upgrade to cs6 once I get home and see if that makes a difference...

I did uncheck the option in the Playback Engine window about clicks and pops, and it still occured. I'm going to play with Engine Buffer.

I'm going to try printing the effects to track so I'm not taxing the system as much.

Any other ideas?
