Default clicks - pops - sputters

Hi

New to HD-1 here
I just switched from LE 002
So I'm not totally sure I have every thing set up correctly.

I'm getting Intermitting clicks - pops - sputters on any session I open.
A session may work fine for 20- 30 minutes then it starts freaking out.

I'm using
Power Mac G5- 2 GHz
Rosetta 800 with X- HD card
HD-1

help

In the hardware menu
it say
clocking source internal..loop master 192

I only have the rosetta 800
no digi 192 in the chain.

Should that be set to some thing different?

Hi,

I think Jesse was suggestion you could try setting the clocking source to the Rosetta 800 and have that as the master!!

Hi
sorry to hear about your problem
your system have a case of Pro Tools 7.
Thats it plain and simple.
You can search the duc and even youtube. the only thing that works for me is to trash prefs. reinstall me os 10.4.9 combo update, and then its quiet for a while. but variuos things trigger the pops and clicks and noise. I've got a sesion that sounds like a chainsaw when I open it, ive done variuos thing to see what the problem it, and found that the sesion is NOT corrupt, its just PT making a noise when you have a big sesion, my cards were'nt even maxed out.
Also delay II sometimes just emits noise, all on its own. Aphex aural exciter also helps to the noise.

All of this under PT 7, I had the same pluggins under PT 6 not as much as a peep.
