Default Anybody tried VControl for iPad

This looks like a well Designed iPad app with a great looking interface
The looks are much better than pro remote (which i own) and the pro version of Vcontrol is also a lot cheaper (only €39,-).

Have a look:

I bought it the other day (pro version).. Haven't had any joy with it thus far with my portable setup and an adhoc network from my MacbookPro <-> iPad. Will try later today on my studio setup.

Yes and I like it very much so far. I am planning on putting it through a good test over the weekend. I just purchased the regular version for now but plan on updating next week.

I use it daily. It is definately the best controller app! Really. No contest.
Very responsive, you can do many-many things with it, and it is almost completely bug free.

Anyone compared the difference between the v control pro and the screen share app for the ipad (dragging the mix window to the ipad?)

Just curious

V Control is killer!
I love the speed and depth of the app, hell I bought an iPad just for this app.
One feature that I think would be cool would be a "Large transport and Big counter combo". I use it to control my set up during screenings and spottings.
This would kill two birds with one stone and provide a nice TC reader display for clients that could be placed anywhere. Also, maybe a notes window that could capture the current TC for spotting sfx.
Currently printing DMEs from my office with an ipad!

I have it, use it. Works great except... No level meters work with a 003. Their tech support were very friendly. They worked with me to the final result. They offered me a refund, but I decided to keep it any way. I use PT 9, MBPRO i7 quad 2.0, CMPTK, Digimax FS, works good, besides the meter issue.

V-Control Pro and V-Control Free 1.5 are now on the App Store. The update is free. New features for Pro Tools:

V-Window - Control plug-ins, instruments, surround panner, automation preview, and other windows directly.
Fader Reset - Double tap on the fader cap to reset to 0 dB.
Sticky Option Modifier Key - Lets you change automation mode for all tracks.

Absolutely incredible update. My favourite thing about V-Window is pulling up my Focusrite software mixer and controlling that as well as Pro Tools. Literally worth owning an iPad for!
