Audio recording quality issue

Hello, I'm using my eleven rack as main interface with my MacBook Pro, when arming a track in Pro Tools, I love the sound that I hear through my monitors, but whenever I record, the sound quality of the recorded truck is lower, less clear, less defined, darker.....I have the same issue when using Logic Pro, so, what might be the reason, any special set up in Mac or Eleven Rack?
I would really really appreciate any help on this issue.Thanks in advance!!!

I assume your monitors are receiving the output from the 11R XLR Main Outs?

Hello, yes, I'm recording through thr Z-Input, which is normally set up as "Auto"

Yes of course, monitors are connected to the 11R XLR Main Outs, but the issue is the same if I connect the Digital Out to my Motu UltraLite MK3 Digital In through spdif, never get the same audio quality than what is monitored...

Everything seems to be online except the bit depth, which is set by default at 32 bits in 11R and cannot be modified, does it means that all my sessions should be at 32 bits? does it affect to the sound quality?

I've been into a similar situation when I tried to record a stereo rig into a mono track: everything sound dull, too dark and too gainy.
Setting the rig to mono solved the issue (I could record it in a stereo track, but for me it was useless as the rig was a mono one, just set to stereo by default).
