Default Ultimate Ultra Portable Studio

Built around a Laptop & at least ProTools software, what's the most compact setup. You have include some kind of i/o for audio & midi.

Default Re: Ultimate Ultra Portable Studio

new line of g4 powerbooks with pro tools free
-auido I/O built in

+ emagic/MOTU MIDI interface

Upgrade to MBox/PT LE when you have recovered from spending all that money on a powerbook

OR: ibook + MBox + MIDI interface
