Font size on PT11 and Windows

Does anyone have any idea if or how one can change the font size in PT 11 ? Since re-downloading program to new computer the program font size has gone from approx 10 to 7-8 . It's a little on the small side so would like to increase it to 10-11 if possible . Affected is the boot up screen and the tool bars in a session .

You will probably need to do this in the OS.

Are you using the same screen resolution on both the old and new systems?

1920X1080 assuming you are using a normal monitor that supports it. Or are you using a nifty new 4K monitor or something?

You can adjust just text, but I don't think Pro Tools recognizes those settings within the program. What you are probably looking for is the scaling setting. If it's on 100%, try 125% this scales the entire display.

Right mouse click any empty part of the desktop,
Select Screen Resolution.

Or...
/start/control panel/appearance and personalization/display/screen resolution/

Select desired resolution,
CLICK Apply.

If everything goes ok,
Then do the same but click "Make text and other items larger or smaller."

I have Medium setting 125% with
40" UltraHD TV
3840x2160

So my text size is set at 125% and my screen resolution is 1920x1080 . I am thinking I need to uninstall PT11 and reinstall ....perhaps it didn't install properly or an update didn't take . The reason I went back to windows 7 from 10 is the session toolbar in PT11 looked as though it was halfways between windows . The session tracks and info looked fine but the toolbar at the top for all the recording and editing options was like it wasn't part of that session , very opaque looking . Almost a ghostly appearance . I knew that wasn't right and blamed , perhaps wrongly , the change to Windows 10 . Everything worked fine except the text in PT 11 . It never affected recording or playback but I knew it wasn't right as far as the text in the toolbar being faded right out .

I am talking about the size of the home screen when booting up Pro tools and the font and character size while in a session . I have checked my O/S settings and they jive with what everyone has been telling me they should be , besides my mail and Internet searches and whatnot are all as I expect them to be . For some reason PT 11 has shrunk and I would like to know if there is a setting within the program I have missed somewhere to change it to a slightly larger format .
