Pro Tools won't open since I updated to 10.4.10

I updated my os from 10.4.9 to 10.4.10 and now when I try to open ProTools the icon just bounces and then never opens. Is there a fix for this or is there a way to roll back my os to 10.4.9?

Try downloading the combo version of the updater from Apple's website and running that. Updating via software update has cause that sort of problem in the past. FWIW 10.4.10 hasn't been approved by Digi yet so the combo updater may not help anything, but it's worth a try.

1) CLONE YOUR SYSTEM DRIVE BEFORE ANY MAJOR OS UPDATE!! - using superduper

2) never update your OS beyond what Digi approves

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried to install the combo but it wouldn't let me. It says "You cannot install Mac OS X Server Update Combined (Universal) on this volume. This Volume does not meet the requirements for this update. Is it not possible to roll back OS on Macs?

i have that prob after every little apple update. even after a simple iTunes or security update...
