Default Upgrade to Panther and PT LE 6.4

I have been working on a project on a Digi 002 with a Dual Proc G4, MAC OS 10.2, and PT 6.1. I am fairly new to MACs and have been pleased so far. Due to the project I am working on I am concerned about doing the upgrade the MAC OS to Panther and ProTools LE 6.1 to 6.4 mid way through my project. I am also running Waves Diamond Package of Plugins along with all of the packaged Digi included tools. My question is to the forum is how painful/painless is the mac jaguar to panther upgrade and Protools 6.1 to 6.4 LE upgrade? What things should I look out for etc? I am trying to gauge what level of risk I run trying to upgrade the platform mid project and if it makes sense. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

DP

I have been with jaguar from day 1. I have never had a crash running any sessions (I must be one of the lucky ones!). I am staying right where I am. If you are pleased with what you have stick with it man! I am gonna run this system in the ground then.........we will have to see.

Dual 1.25 G4
PTLE 6.1.2

never upgrade mid-project unless you're doing it to solve some major bug that is keeping you from working. doesn't matter how easy you might become convinced it is (which it is) - it's just never ever a good idea. finish your project, then upgrade.

I'll second that Slim, but I gotta say 6.4 is working great for me
