PT7.4.2pr with DIGI003 on leopard do not work for me

I've Install the Mac OSX 10.5.3 on my 2x2.8GHz Quad MacPro system and then PT 7.4.2pr with my DIGI003 Rack (Factory)

1. I do not have a succesfully installation:

I do not have an MBox 2 and never had one connect to my system!!!

Then I can start protools ans can see the Digi003 interface in it, but cannot create a new project or open the PT demo. I got the error message:
This session is saved on a volume set to *Transfer" only. ...
When I open the Workspace, I can only see a "Paused" Listening Workspace, You do not have appropriate access.

Even a clean de-installation has not helped

Do you have any suggestion to help solve this problem?

PS: got Time machine running on my system but if I disable it, it doesn't solve the problem

I reset the permission using the Disk Utility, but has no effect.

I also have a similar problem with the Pro Tools Beta on Leopard 10.5.3.
My internal drive of my new Imac doesn't show up in the Workspace-window, and I get the "You do not have appropriate access" error. Can't record or play anything back!!
I'm using the digi 002 interface.

A few things to consider,

1. Have you checked drive Ownership and Permissions using Finder (Apple 'I')? What about installing from a new Administrator account?

2. Do a clean unintall and reinstall one component at a time. That is, uncheck everything except PT (no plug-ins). Install, clear Prefs/DDB's and reboot. Next just plug-ins etc.

2. You might have to reformat the HD's with Mac extended journaled (NB it will erase the drive contents).
