PT 11 won't read Digi 003

I've just installed the 30-day trial version on PT 11. I can run the program, but it doesn't acknowledge the 003 -- the only hardware it finds in Setup is Pro Tools Aggregate. (I'm running Mac Pro with OSX 10.8.5). If I shut down PT 11 and load PT 10, it immediately finds the 003 -- how can I make PT 11 connect with the control surface?

You need to update the 003 driver for PT11 and keep the other driver for PT10.
One of the drivers doesn't work with the other so you need both for PT11/10
This can be found on the avid website driver update.

Scroll down a bit and choose the correct updated driver for your 003
