IMHO the difference between working with Pro Tools or any other DAW is the same as driving with a BMW or a tricycle!
EASE OF USE VELOCITY QUALITY THE BEST HUMAN INTERFACE LOGICAL WORKFLOW WORLD STANDARD EXPANDIBILITY (!!!) MUSIC,POST,SOUND DESIGN,MASTERING READY PLUGINS AND INTERFACES CHOICE PRICE TO PERFORMANCE RATIO (i don't work for Digi) ------------------ somewhere in the planet

When I looked into this the final decision was a no-brainer unless your heavily into MIDI. If you're a MIDI maven, then you may want to look at MOTU Digital Performer 3.0 or Logic 5.0.
