Coreaudio drivers?
I understand that I can't run Protools and Ableton simultaneously through the digi 002 rack. which is fine. Trouble is that with the protools driver installed, ableton gets nothing but pink noise on all inputs (even with nothing but firewire connected to the rack) . I installed the core audio standalone driver from the digidesign website but It automatically overwrites the protools drivers, and protools can't launch.
Anybody know of a different driver I could try? or have any other smart ideas? Normally I use a seperate interface for Ableton, but my mixer is on the bench and I'm getting real sick of repatching my whole system just to switch apps. Please help! Cheers Ted EDIT: I found the update that adresses this problem. protools LE 7.1.1.cs2 update does the trick! (I had some difficulty locating the darn thing though) 15" 1.83 GHz Macbook Pro W/ 1.5 Gb RAM, OSX 10.4.11, M Audio Firewire 410, Digidesign Digi002, M-Audio Axiom 25, Ableton 7.0.10, Protools LE 7.1.1. Analog Audio routing and processing gak from ART, DBX, KRK, Soundcraft, Stanton, Yamaha |
