Default Beginner's question

Hey everyone,

I'm a ProTools beginner and am trying to delete an entire section of a song (all the tracks). The intro is too long and I want the verse to begin 4 measures sooner but can't figure out how to do it. Sadly for me, the riff begins a bit before the barline so it's slightly off the grid but I'm sure there's an easy way to do this...
Thanks!

Below the TRACK NAMES on the left you will see a GROUP box that allows you to have and create groups.

There is by default a ALL group. If you check it you will see that it highlights itself. To create a group, say DRUMS, select all drum tracks by shift clicking or ALT clicking each track, then do a "control-g" and a box will appear. Name the group, wha la....

Really highly recommend watching the DIGI TV movie on some Pro Tools basics man. Well worth the time spent.

Thanks a lot, Doc! I've been trying to educate myself as much as possible with the little time I have and sometimes I don't even know what to search for in the manual. But each new discovery opens a world of ease!
