MP3 option wont install
I have just purchased the mp3 option and downloaded the file a .hqx when I click on it it says choose aplication to open? There are no instructions I have looked on the digidesign website? http://www.digidesign.com/download/mp3/ I have tried to just run the mp3 tool in pro tools le but it wont let me authorise?
Anyone know what to do please?

You don't need to download anything, just run your most recent PTLE installer and choose to install only the MP3 option (somtimes called MP3 upgrade - it's just under the one called "Mp3 Demo" which you want to avoid). Once that's installed, the first time you try to import/export an MP3 it'll ask for your authorization code.
If you still have problems, they you probably installed the MP3 demo at some point - follow the instructions in the General Troubleshooting thread on how to remove the MP3 demo and then go through the process of installing the option/upgrade again and you should be good to go.

Tried this, had to do a complete uninstall then reinstall of 7 and 7.1 but it is working now thanks
