i tried getting a song posted that i recorded and i think i finally got it to work........my website has limitations to how much traffic it can handle but feel free to check it or try back another time if it wont work....i lost some quality converting to mp3 but i just tried it and it works..........chas

thanks cliffy....i didnt do the drums or the lead vocal otherwise everything else i did yes......the lead vocal is my nephew (randy vanvoreen) who also wrote this song.the drummer is a friend of mine i have been playing with for several yrs (jim kirkpatrick)...im still building but the gear i used was mainly my digimaxLT for drums..mics used were all sm57 cept one beta 58 i used on the kick.....i used a studio projects c1 and a nady LDC mic for overheads cuz thats all i had......bass was done with a yamaha bass going through my universal audio mic pre....my guitar stuff was done using 2 older fender amps and a strat.....my pedal steel is an emmons legrande and that was played through a 12 inch evm and a fender twin .other than that there was just an acoustic guitar and harmony vocals which were all done again using the universal audio m610.........all effects were either audio suite or plug ins..........as i said im still trying to build and learn thanks to many on here but this was my first full length cd i did and though i was stressed bigtime through it i had a blast.......any helpfull comments are aprreciatted.....oh i forgot i mastered the project using waves mastering tools.......chas

yes cliffy all vox went through the the studio projects C1 and then into the 610......its the best mic pre i have and i like it alot for bass too...actually i never tried using the digimaxLT for vox....im kinda old school and anything with a tube in it i gravitate towards.......my only regret is i didnt have the dough to buy the unit (i forget the model number) that has the compressor built in with the 610 mic pre cuz i could use a good comp yet and ill bet that unit kills......chas

Well it didn't work for me. Got this message:

This may be a Yahoo matter and not a flaw in your site as others did manage to dl your song. But I'm puzzled .....

sorry to hear voideco....just try later and it should work...that website cant handle too much because of limited bandwidth from what i understand.....i cant complain cuz its free hehe....hope it works later......chas
