Score Editor bug

I have a long term client who writes orchestral stuff and I mock it up and edit it, revising it with her updates. To do this I send her a PDF of the score.
After some back-and-forth with Avid technical support it turns out there is a long-standing bug - since PT11 - which means in many circumstances 1/16th notes/semiquavers display as 1/8th notes/quavers in the score editor. Shortening them to 1/32 notes in the piano roll makes them display as 1/16 in score. 1/8 notes always display correctly. This makes discussions and revisions with my client very difficult!

Unbelievably Avid claims no one else has reported this, so it’s unlikely to get fixed.

Here’s what Maciej at Avid told me:

“It appears that this bug is present for a long time now (since Pro Tools 11) and has only one report from you.

It has been now registered as PT-268218 and is waiting for priority assessment.

Since that is so old and there are no other reports it may not get any high priority so it is possible that it won't be fixed fast.

But let's not lose hope, as a musician, I also feel that this is a very bad bug but it's up to Engineering to assess the priority.”

I’ve also discovered that the error is transferred if you export to Sibelius using the transfer function, so the only way to export is using midi.
