Waiting For Sync...over and over
So I'm sadly working in ProTools on a PC instead of Mac for a current freelance gig, and I'm running LE8.0.4cs2 with an Mbox 2nd gen (NOT new one) and Windows 7. I am CONSTANTLY getting stuck in 'Waiting For Sync' territory, unable to play the session, with the only known fix being to quit and relaunch PT, which takes forever on this machine. And no, I"m not syncing to anything. And no, I'm not hitting or selecting Control-J or Transport Online or anything. I even tried toggling that on and off, but the freeze remains until I restart PT.
Anyone know what's up here? |

Re: Waiting For Sync...over and over
For me, the problem stopped when I went to v9, which was released shortly after my initial post. IF there is a solution within v8, I never found it. Oh, and I see it's happening to you in v10?
