Axiom pro 49 n reason 4

So it syncs up fine with pro tools le.

however,

HOW DO I SYNC IT WITH STAND ALONE REASON4????

I am using Mac OSX.

The owners manual says it should sync by itself. It did not.

I went into prefrences with a little luck, I was able to find the midi controller. However, the hyper control is not working.

ANY IDEAS?

Hello,

I'm going to try and give some ideas to try

Go into preferences in Reason. Go down to Keyboards and Control Surfaces and click auto detect surfaces. If nothing comes up then you will have to manually add the device

First add the keyboard by choosing "Add" and selecting M-Audio as the manufacturer and select "Other (MIDI Keyboard No Controls)". And select the MIDI input as the keyboard. Now you need to setup the control surface on the keyboard as a separate device

Do the same as before and click "Add" and then choose M-Audio as the manufacturer again but this time select Other MIDI Control Surface and set the MIDI input from the keyboard again.

This will create two devices but should work without clashing.
