Re: looking at getting powermac G5
The G5 running PT 7.3.1.cs6 on 10.4.11. has been very reliable. It's a great machine but, in the fast moving world of computing, it's getting a little 'long in the tooth' now. Hence my suggestion re an Intel Mac Mini if the budget cannot stretch to a higher end model.
