Py-Ptsl Python PTSL Package 'Pository Posted Publicy

Hi anyone!

I've gone through my py-ptsl project and scrubbed all Avid vendor files from the history so I think it's okay to post it to a public repo, you can access it here:

Everyone who's asked me for access in the past remains a collaborator. Have fun and give it a look if you're looking for an example of a PTSL client and maybe something that can be integrated into other tools.

This is awesome! Thank you for sharing it. I was even able to get it working with 2023.9 using the included build_proto.sh script, after some commands were throwing errors there.

Thank you very much Jamie for posting this ! How can I get it working with 2023.9 ? I'm trying to build a script that uses createMemoryLocation class. It'll take an array(loads it from a csv) that has marker names as well as TC positions. Any help would be appreciated :)

Look at the build_proto.sh script, you just need the .proto file for 2023.9 and it will update the PTSL_pb2*.py files, that stub out all of the gRPC calls and PTSL-defined data structures. Then you just have to update the Engine class to fit the new functionality.

If you'd like to update the project to 2023.9 def check out a branch and submit a PR when you're done, I was thinking about doing it but I may not update it myself until the next Pro Tools version is released.
