<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">...um,..

on the 002, there are S/PDIF coax In and Out, which can only carry two channels going in, and two going out.

there is a pair of Optical In and out on the 002. these can be set to either ADAT or S/PDIF. in S/PDIF, you only get two channels going in and two going out. with ADAT, you get 8 In, and 8 Out.

now, i'm not sure about the Optical S/PDIF, but i know that with optical ADAT on the 002, the highest sampling rate available is 48k (NOT 96k like on the analogue I/O and S/PDIF Coax I/O on the 002).

oh, i thought he meant 10 with just the PSX.

also he said S/PDIF optical, which the PSX doesn't even have.

The PSX-100 includes built-in interfaces for ADAT, TDIF, S/PDIF coax and optical plus multiple AES/EBU.

so i can record 10 channels at 96 khz ?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">yes, but only TWO of them using Apogee's converters. the rest 8 you can only use Digi's stock converters.
